If there's one thing I love, it is a story within a story (and all that other meta stuff). And I really like it how you used two different versions of the Prometheus story in this one: The one from the Cat-astrophe and this one here. Both paint really different pictures of the way it could have been and of Prometheus character, and this reflects exactly what those stories are about: Often about the question which version is the real one and how you should act according to that. This ambiguity and its effects are something really important nowadays, I think, and I'm always really happy to find it in a story or to play around with it myself.

And the reader in this case has the advantage of knowing both stories so that my first response to that "Yay!" - "Let's wake up Prometheus!" was more of a: Maybe not such a great idea ...
